Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme

Quick Notes: I feel kinda guilty posting this Copycat Crunchwrap Supreme because it is hardly a recipe. It is, however, fucking dank so I want to share this information with you. It’s quick, easy, and foolproof. I’m staying true to the original here, but really, you could put whatever the hell you want in this thing and grill it up. The trick is to go to your local Mexican market and buy their fresh gigantic tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package tostada shells
  • 1 package HUGE MOTHERFUCKING TORTILLAS
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (if you really want to stay original to the bell, check out this copycat recipe for their seasoning https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/236257/taco-bell-seasoning-copycat/)
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 tub sour cream
  • 1 cup nacho cheese or queso (store bought or make your own)

Instructions

  1. Make taco meat.  Plop it in the pan, cook until brown, drain, and add seasonings.  Some recipes may ask for some water to be added with the seasonings.  Follow the directions.
  2. Toss a frying pan on a burner and bring it to temperature over medium-high heat.
  3. Lay out your HUGE FUCKIN tortilla on the counter and put a couple spoonfuls of taco meat in the middle.  spread it out so that it's roughly the size of your tostada shell.
  4. Sprinkle some cheese in with the meat.
  5. Take your tostada shell and spread sour cream and nacho cheese across the top of it and lay it sauce-side up on your meat.
  6. add shredded lettuce on top of that, and then add your tomatoes.
  7. Fold your tortilla inward towards the center.  This is pretty easy but does take a little finesse.  If your tortillas are too dry, they may crack or crumble.  If you followed instructions, this should be a relatively fresh tortilla and fold in easily covering your inner ingredients with ease. If your tortilla is too dry. toss a couple in the microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for like 15 seconds.
  8. Put the wrap in the pan on the stovetop and grill until brown on both sides.

Dress this up with a little Easy Pico de Gallo and finish off the meal with some Tres Leches.
